                       I feel it is of the utmost importance to tell my story now.

There are many ways of promoting peace through signs and symbols. Often time, people are unaware of the truth behind the signs and symbols they use or create and thereby send the wrong message and energy throughout the world and the universe.  I am inverting the original peace symbol from that of despair and uprighting into celebrating Peace.  

    Google informs: In the latter part of the twentieth century, the peace sign, developed by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, and the V hand signal came into use around the world.

    It was originally designed in 1958 by Gerald Holtom, a British artist. The symbol was for a semaphoric flag signal standing for Nuclear Disarmament. The artist, Gerald Holtom later wrote to the editor of Peace News, explaining the genesis of his idea in greater depth:

    "I was in despair. Deep despair. I drew myself: the representative of an individual in despair, with hands palm outstretched outwards and downwards in the manner of Goya's 'peasant before the firing squad." He continued, "I familarized the drawing into a line and put a circle around it." The designer, Holtom, later came to regret the symbolism of despair, as he felt that peace was something to be celebrated and wanted the symbol to be inverted.

    So, I have brought the peace symbol to its rightful upright position and am sending out to the world the celebretory Peace Energy we need to override fear and despair. This corrected, true peace symbol is what the world needs and we need Peace Up Now!

  I have stood the Y up correctly as in ancient petroglyphs and Celtic runic form and explain it clearly as Protection:

It is named: ALGIZ (Z or-R: ELK, Protection.) Protection, a shield. The protective urge to shelter oneself or others. Defense, warding off of evil, shield, guardian. Connection with the gods, awakening, higher life. It can be used used to channel energies appropriately. Follow your instincts. Keep hold of success or maintain position won or earned.

The Y or ALGIZ reversed: or Merkstave: Hidden danger, consumption by divine forces, loss of divine link. Taboo, warning, that which repels.
